Striker Classic TDR – 60″ Takedown Recurve Bow

$849.00

The Striker Classic TDR, is a takedown recurve set at a 60″ length. Our recurve limb style incorporates characteristics of our popular reflex-deflex longbow limbs but with the added limb angles on the tips, which makes for a quiet shooting, high performing bow. Bocote wood is used for the riser section as well as the limb veneers for an exotic look that is sought after in the custom world, but not with the custom price tag attached. Also, for the first time, Striker Bows is offering a takedown recurve bow model with the option of interchangeable limbs. This option gives the ability to universally change out limbs on any 2016 takedown model without the need for custom fitting the limbs to the riser.

ive owned this bow for just about a year, i have a 41# draw weight version.
to be completely honest, it feels like its at least 5# less than that. it is so smooth and exceptionally quiet. ive owned several very well known bows that were customs but this is in a league of its own. it took me a while to get to grips with it as the riser and handle area were a lot smaller than id been used too but once i dedicated my time to shooting it the other bows were sold..
one thing i personally would prefer is a slightly larger ‘shelf window’, thats purely personal though as the way i shoot i like to see only the ‘spot’ im aiming at, despite canting the bow i find myself looking at the back of the riser on occasions. (most likely my form but hey im being honest)
other than that i cant recommend this bow enough. great work guys and all the best..

Hey Steve, thanks for the kind words!! I think you’ll be excited about the RK1 with it being a 16″ riser and since it’s .375″ cust past center it’ll give you a larger sight window. The removable side plate does get you back to get the 1/16″ past center which is a great setup. Thanks again for the comment!!

Hey guys , yes I’m looking forward to heading to Silver Archery to try the RK1, it looks amazing from what I’ve seen and heard about it.
The sight window being a little larger could make this the perfect setup for me! Although I do like the tdr hugely already !
    Great job guys.
